Hey there! Finally! This was my last work day for the next weeks. Lots of crafty time ahead!
Today it's my turn to bring some inspiration to you over at A Blog Named Hero. This month we're playing with Paper Smooches stamps (plus Hero Arts, of course!). You know I've always loved them!
Did you ever think about the different use of solid or outline images? I think the result depends on that choice also. Outline images are usually cute and fun, whereas solid images give a classy look to cards - don'r you think?!
So here's my classy card with solid images first:
And here's the cute/fun creation with an outline stamp:
same colors, same sentiments, both very simple but completely different cards.
I hope you like them. Hop over to A Blog Named Hero to find out more.
There is still some time to enter the current challenge, Simon Says Stamp has generously sponored us with a great prize!
Get out your favorite color medium, stamp some fun images and color them in. easy, right? That's what we do all the time. Pencils, Markers, Watercolor.. you have endless possibilities!
We're collaborating with Paper Smooches for all of July:
So I used the cute heart band-aid from Paper Smooches "First Aid Kit" Set and combined it with a Hero Arts background stamo. By adding vellum and enamel dot I created layers and details for more interest.
I think thar effect is pretty cool and I'll use it again soon!
Now take out your coloring-favourites and play along! And remember, one lucky, random entry will win a $25 gift voucher from our amazing sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, so you should definitely play along! :)
Hey there!
Wow, the week end is over again - that was - as always - way to quick.
Today it's my turn to bring some inspiration to you over at A Blog Named Hero. This month we're playing with some Mama Elephant stamps (plus Hero Arts, of course!). Mama Elephand makes the cutest stamps, make sure to check them out. AND they're giving away a prize for this months Challenge at ABNH, so be sure to play along! ;) (You gat all the info on A Blog Named Hero.)
So, what inspiration could I bring to you? That's the question I ask myself each and every month. I kept it simple this time: Combining supplies is something I do all the time, so I thought about making a simple card with the focus on theme. Well, it's all about stars:
Mint again - I am so sorry ;) Does it get boring? Well, I just love it (obviously!).
Having a simple technique keeps that card clean although we used 3 stamps/stamp sets and embellishments. And having it all focus on one theme makes it go together, not distracting from each other. (You could also combine with focus on shape, color, paper pad,... by theme is only one possibility.
What do you go for when you create a card? Or do you have many ways to get your cards together? I'd really love to know :)
Now enjoy the Video:
Thanks for spending some time on my little blog - I am always happy if there's someone who gets inspired.
This time we are inspired by Hero Art Artists and their creations. Which of those amazing girls inspires you?
For the month of April, the ABNH girls also play with fun stamps from Mama Elephant

I was inspired by Lisa Spangler's Cupcake Toppers. The stars and the colors jumped right at me! I made two cards, because I didn't want to throw my negative cut away:
