Sweet Stamp Shop June Release #2

Wohoo, it's the second June release today over at the Sweet Stamp Shop . And this months release is fabulous and cute and versatile - just what I love!

I made one card for every Set, so let me introduce to you:

1) Koala
Oh my gosh, I LOOOOVE those little guys - they are beyond cute and you can use them on a card for ANY occasion.  One of the most obvious might be a baby card, so that's what I did :)

I really wanted to keep the focus on those sweeties, co I made it very CAS:  Just a few flowers (from the Hats Set) and a very simple color scheme. Soft for a baby card, does make sense, huh? ;)

2) Campout

Wow, a set with different campers - have you ever seen campers as cute as that? They're so much fun to color. I created a backdrop with some white embossing paste on kraft, because you just can't go wrong with white on kraft. And wood veneers and kraft always make a great pair. The colors are all muted so the camper really pops. (Again, focus on the mail image ;) )

3) Condolences

I think I never really made a sympathy card so far - it's tough for me. But set is versatile and not only good for sympathy cards, you know? I made a card for someone you love - a good friend, your partner, your parents - there are so many people to think of and to send love to, right?

4) Foodie

Whenever you want to invite someone to a party or a dinner - this will be your go-to set. It's perfect for scrapbookers and cardmakers - and all the food-related projects that you might create. I made an invitation using the sentiment from Juggling Act and the hats from hats, hehe. I love repeated stamping with sentiments - one of the best ways to use all those awesome inkpads and combine colors like you want (or even for color-challenges!)

Das doppelte Lottchen #96

It's Lottie and Lisa time! 

That means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp that that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

Papertrey Ink - Friendship Jar 

and

stamping on cork

Es ist wieder Lottchenzeit!

Hier einigen die wunderbare Anni und ich uns üblicherweise auf einen Stempel oder ein Stempelset , dass wir beide besitzen und gestalten (unser Geschmack ist sehr ähnlich!) mit diesem und einer Zusatzaufgabe eine Karte. 

Ich durfte wünschen, und heraus kam:

Papertrey Ink - Friendship Jar 

und

stempeln auf Kork

This is what I came up with:

I white embossed a Hero Arts Background on cork to have a nice backdrop for the jar which is filled with brushes. I kept the card mostly blue for the sentiment "Feeling Blue?" which was added on the tag that I had also stamped on cork. On the inside the card says "always here for you! Along with two cork hearts.

Und das kam bei mir dabei heraus:

Ich habe einen Hero Arts Hintergrund weiß auf Kork erbost, um einen schönen Hintergrund für das Glas zu haben, das mit Pinseln gefüllt ist. Ich habe die Karte hauptsächlich in blau gehalten, wegen des Textes "Feeling Blue?" (Bist du traurig?), den ich auf ein Tag geklebt habe, das ich ebenfalls auf Kork gestempelt habe. Auf der Innenseite habe ich den Text "always here for you" mit zwei Kork-Herzen.

I also have a second card,, that I made Inspired by the Sparks Challenge from Paper Smooches.  The have an inspiration photo this week, that I really liked, especially the colors:

In the picture it's hard to see, but I stamped a subtle background in very light grey using some of Paper Smooches botanicals.

Jahresrückblick

Bei Anni gibt es gerade ihren eigenen Jahresrückblick zu sehen, mit ihren liebsten Karten jedes Monats. Außerdem fordert sie uns auf, eine ähnliche Reise zu machen.
Da ich slebst eh schon über eine Art Jahresrückblick nachgedacht hatte, passt mir das sehr gut.
Da ich aber extrem produktiv war (in der zweiten Jahreshälfte), ist das gar nicht so einfach...

Von Januar bis März gab es hier nichts zu sehen.

Ich kann gar nicht wirklich Trends erkennen, was meine Lieblings angeht. Ich glaub mein Jahresfavorit ist die Mai-Karte. War lustig noch mal durchzublättern. Bei einigen Karten wusste ich sofort, dass sie der Liebling des Monats sind, bei anderen musste ich vor der Entscheidung hin und her überlegen. Und im Oktober hätte ich vermutlich noch 2 weitere Karten nennen können - da hatte ich wohl 'nen guten Lauf.

Ich bin gespannt wer von Euch bei Annis Jahresrückblick mitmachen mag und was ihr dort zeigt!

2 sommerliche Karten

Da es bei dem Regenwetter ohnehin schon alle kühl genug wirkt, hatte ich jetzt mal genug von Weihnachtskarten. Ich habe zwei sommerliche Karten gemacht!

Beide sind inspiriert von dem 6x6 Paper Pad "Summer Days" von Echo Park. Ich bin in die Papiere darin total verliebt. (Das gelbe Papier auf der Kaffee Karte kommt allerdings aus einem anderen Block)

Die erste Karte darf bei der CAS-Challenge bei Addicted to stamps mitmachen.

Die zweite ist bei einem "Kartenblitz" (Scramble) im Schnugisforum entstanden, zu dem ich einen Sketch beigesteuert habe.
