Hello everyone,

Here we are with a new Lottie and Lisa - I love those Sundays so much!

For those new on my blog:
Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
For today Anni made a wish, and it is:

My favorite things - Forest Friends

&

Dry embossing with stencils

I think dry embossing can add such fabulous details to your cards, but I often struggle to use it, because it seems "so 2010" to me - hehe. That was when there was just too much going on on my cards. ;)
I picked a not-yet-released stencil from Create A Smile do add some subtile hearts to the circle panel and I really really love how this turned out. It adds a special touch without overloading the card.

You can see the embossing a little better on this detail photo:

Do you use a lot of dry embossing on your cards? Feel free to link to your creationsin the comments - I'd love to check them out and get inspired <3

Thanks for stopping by, now hop over to Anni's blog so see what she came up with!

Have a great day!

Das doppelte Lottchen #178

Hello everyone,

Here we are with a new Lottie and Lisa - yay!

For those new on my blog:
Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
For today Anni made a wish, and it is:

My cute stamps - Eek, a monster!

&

Coloring vellum with inkpads

I {puffy heart} LOVE colored vellum bit haven't used it in a bit, so this task was perfect for me. I am pretty sick at the moment, but I still felt so inspired - thank you, Anni <3

I took out some Simon Says Stamp inks (Hot Mama, Green Leaf, Audrey Blue) als colored my vellum after I cut it in strips. I adhered the strips randomly and added the colored, fussycur monster. (Colored with Copics ans Polychromos Pencils).

The sentiment is from Create A Smile's stamp set "Monstermäßig".

Das doppelte Lottchen #177 & new CAS release!

Hello everyone,

Paper Piecing

I guess we all experience those moments when we fall in love again with a technique that we used to love years ago. Paper Piecing is something I re-discovered for me, lately. I just love the look - patterns everywhere.
I decided to use some of the newest Create A Smile products - the new release came out last friday. You can check all the new products out and see some inspirational projects here. Let's get to my Lottie and Lisa card first :)

With the dies it was crystal clear that the theme would be ocean, so I created a background with my oxide inks (Peacock feathers, salty ocean, wilted violet). I paper pieced the vampire squid from Glowing Seaside / Strahlende Küste, die cut the "du" with the new "doppeltes du" cool cuts and added a small handwritten sentiment. The sentiment says "you are unique".

I also have some more cards to share with you, using the newly released products:

This coffee-themes card uses an older stamp set (just like coffee / so wie Kaffee) and an older die set (Stacked pierced banners) with two brand new products: The "Huge polka Dots" stencil and the "you twice" cool cuts.

Here's a super clean and simple card, using the unfrogettable / sei kein Frosch stamp set, the new postage edge circles cool cuts, the doppeltes hallo cool cuts and the Nur mal hallo sagen stamp set:

The last card is very clean and simple also, using the doppeltes du dies, the postage edge circle dies and the new Focal Dots stencil.

I hope you enjoyed this little colorful gallery :)

Please hop over to see what Anni created for our Lottie and Lisa #177!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful sunday!

Das doppelte Lottchen {Lottie and Lisa} #176

Hello everyone,

it's 2018 and Lottie and Lisa is BACK! Anni and I decided we want to do it on a more regular base again and hope to manage a bi-weekly edition :)

For those new on my blog:
Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
For today Anni made a wish, and it is:

&

watercolor + heat embossing

This challenge was a little strange. I loved EVERYTHING about it, but I really struggled to make a a card that I liked. I started with multiple ideas, multiple background, multiple watercoloring-tecniques.
In the end I managed to crate two brand new cards for this theme:

Which one do you like better (and why?) Please let me know in the comments below!

Now hop over to Anni's blog to find her creation :) She'll knock your socks off ;)

Thanks for visiting!

But I am back with a new Lottie and Lisa

There's not much to say about this - I created a set (card and tag) for this week and I think they turned out simple but nice:
