Today I have a special guest joining in all the fun. Virginia Lu is one of my favorite card makers - she know's how to create cards with clean lines and adorable and creative designs. I think it's already some years ago that I started to follow her blog and also got lovely comments from her. Perhaps you already met her in "blogland": she is part of different design teams because she is really talented! I also like to visit her blog because I love her (sometimes funny) way to write down stories and talk about moments.

Heute habe ich einen besonderen Gast, der bei diesem Spaß mit macht. Virginia Lu ist eine meiner Liebsten Karten-Designerinnen - sie weiß genau wie man Karten mir klaren Linien und wunderbaren, kreativen Designs gestaltet. Ich glaube es ist nun schon einige Jahre her, dass ich ihren Blog abboniert habe und auch von ihre liebe Kommentare bekam. Vielleicht seid ihr im "Blogland" schon auf sie gestßen: Sie mit Mitglied diverser Designteam, denn sie ist wirklich talentiert! Außerdem besuche ich ihren Blog gerne, weil ich die (machmal komische) Art mag, wie sie Geschichten schreibt und kleine Moment erzählt.
I asked Virginia if I may pick one of her cards that inspires me and create a video showing both. Virginia was not only cool enough to say yes but she even created two new cards herself, that were inspired by her old card. This is the card I chose:
Ich fragte Virginia ob ich keine ihrer Karten aussuchen darf, die mich inspiriert um ein Video zu machen, das beide Karten zeigt. Virginia hat nicht nur cool reagiert und ja gesagt, sondern auch noch selber zwei Karten designed, die durch ihre alte Karte inspiriert sind. Das ist die Karte, die ich ausgewählt habe:
There are so many elements to be inspired by: The colors, the ribbon, the piercing, the layout, the circle....
I focussed on the circle and the colors and this is what I came up with:
Da gibt es so viele inspirierende Elemente: Die Farben, das Band, die Perforation, das Layout, der Kreis....
