Neat & Tangled Release Preview: Sailmates

Hey there!

It's time for the Neat & Tangled's may release week! There will be 5 Sets this month - and they are all so adorable!

Today we'd like to introduce "Sailmates" to you. I don't know about you, but I'm addicted to nautical-themed stamps in summer - so this set it right up my Alley!

I created a simple card with nautical colors, stamped a muted background with the anchor and let the ship POP! :)

As always there is so much inspiration from that awesome DT-team. I am always WOWED and inspired by that team - just too much talent over there!

Create A Smile - make it soft!

Hi there,

it's monday - that means it's my turn on the Create A Smile Blog. 

Today I'm talking about creating soft background to get a well-balanced card with an image that pops.
I think it's obvious - I was inspired by Debby Hughes :)

Sweet Stamp Shop June Release #2

Wohoo, it's the second June release today over at the Sweet Stamp Shop . And this months release is fabulous and cute and versatile - just what I love!

I made one card for every Set, so let me introduce to you:

1) Koala
Oh my gosh, I LOOOOVE those little guys - they are beyond cute and you can use them on a card for ANY occasion.  One of the most obvious might be a baby card, so that's what I did :)

I really wanted to keep the focus on those sweeties, co I made it very CAS:  Just a few flowers (from the Hats Set) and a very simple color scheme. Soft for a baby card, does make sense, huh? ;)

2) Campout

Wow, a set with different campers - have you ever seen campers as cute as that? They're so much fun to color. I created a backdrop with some white embossing paste on kraft, because you just can't go wrong with white on kraft. And wood veneers and kraft always make a great pair. The colors are all muted so the camper really pops. (Again, focus on the mail image ;) )

3) Condolences

I think I never really made a sympathy card so far - it's tough for me. But set is versatile and not only good for sympathy cards, you know? I made a card for someone you love - a good friend, your partner, your parents - there are so many people to think of and to send love to, right?

4) Foodie

Whenever you want to invite someone to a party or a dinner - this will be your go-to set. It's perfect for scrapbookers and cardmakers - and all the food-related projects that you might create. I made an invitation using the sentiment from Juggling Act and the hats from hats, hehe. I love repeated stamping with sentiments - one of the best ways to use all those awesome inkpads and combine colors like you want (or even for color-challenges!)

Yay - i am back from hospital. Thanks for all your get well wishes - they did a great job!
I had sooo much time to color images (I stamped hundreds and took my markers with me ;) ). I already made 15 cards today with pre-colored images. But some of the stamps have to be released first :-P

2) Gute Reise

Für das Thema bei Creative Freiday habe ich mal wieder meine Unity Stamps ausgepackt - obwohl die so toll sind benutze ich die viel zu selten.

Heute ist wieder einer dieser Tage wo ich Sorge habe Euch zu langweilen. die nächsten drei Karten sind sich dich irgendwie alle etwas ähnlich.

Von Paper Smooches gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge. und bei den Farben konnte ich einfach nicht wiederstehen. Türkis und gelb - ein MUSS für mich!

Ich glaube mit dieser Karte benutze ich erst zum 2. mal das Fisch-Set von Hero Arts - dabei ist es ziemlich cool. Der Hintergrund ist mit meinem aktuellen PTI-Favoriten Sketched Shapes gemacht.

Die neuen Hero Arts Stempel sind total vielseitig. Hier habe ich es noch mal mit dem Tweed Pattern, My Words und Brush Strokes versucht.

 Einen frohen letzten Wochentag wünsche ich Euch!
Ich habe zwei sehr unterschiedliche Karten für Euch:

1) Viel Spass

Bei Friday Mashup ist diese Woche Die Brickwall-Technique eine Challenge. Die habe ich vorher noch nie probiert und es hat auch seine Zeit gedauert bis die Karte fertig war, aber es hat riesig Spaß gemacht. Das werd ich bestimmt wiederholen. Und mit dem Alphabet Soup Set von TAWS kann ich nun in dieser tollen Schriftart auch deutsche Texte nach meinem Geschmack und Bedarf gestalten - Juhuu! :)

2) You make life better

Hier habe ich weiter mit meinen neuen Hero Arts Stempel experimentiert. In diesem Fall mit Brush Strokes, Sketchbook Letters, My Words und Not Perfect. Irgendwie lassen die sich alle toll kombinieren, finde ich. Auch wenn das Ergebnis vom Stil meiner anderen Karten abweicht.

Hallöchen,
heute habe ich helle, fröhliche Karten für Euch. Nachdem ich gelesen habe dass uns hier ab Dienstag Temperaturen über 30 Grad mit viel Sonne erwarten, konnte ich auch gar nicht anders.

1) Heute schon gelächelt?
Trotz der schwarzen Stanzblmen finde ich diese Karte irgendwie fröhlich. Empfindet ihr das auch so? Ich bin mir über ihre Wirkung nicht ganz im Klaren.

Das doppelte Lottchen #55

Es ist Sonntag und damit wieder Lottchenzeit! Heute sind wir beide etwas spät dran, aber besser spät als nie :)

Hier einigen die wunderbare Anni und ich uns üblicherweise auf einen Stempel oder ein Stempelset , dass wir beide besitzen und gestalten (unser Geschmack ist sehr ähnlich!) mit diesem und einer Zusatzaufgabe eine Karte. Dieses mal habe ich mir aber keine Stempel, sondern ein Stanzen-Set gewünscht.

Das heutige Lottchen lautet:

Ich hatte eigentlich eine ganz andere Vorstellung davon, wie ich das umsetzen möchte. Aber irgendewann heute morgen verknüpften sich diese Vorgaben mit einigen Challenges und brachten folgende Karte hervor:

Ich bin früh dran, ja. Das liegt daran, dass die Stempel so spät dran waren. Wie schon in einem anderen Post geschrieben hatte ich Ende Oktober bestellt - da war ich noch im Weihnachtsrausch. Jetzt wollen die neuen Sachen aber auch ausprobiert werden.

3) Hello
Die Karte habe ich nur zum Spaß gemacht, Bei den wunderschönen PTI Textstempeln ist ganz oft ein rahmen dabei. Da ich rahmen aber fast nie benutze wollte ich mir dafür mal etwas einfallen lassen:

Natürlich kann ich die Finger nicht von den neuen PTI Stempeln lassen, entsprechend hier noch mal drei Karten, bevor ich gleich zur 2. und letzten Theateraufführung muss:

Eine sehr simple Karte mit neuer Stanze und neuem Text.

Und noch zwei mit dem tollen und vielseitigen Glas, auf das ich besonders scharf war:

1) Die erste Karte ist irre bunt und folgt dem Sketch bei Stampin Royalty.

2) Die zweite Karte hat dafür quasi gar keine Farbe.

Challenges sind schuld! Undzwar:
