Create a Smile and Distress Markers (Video)

  3. Ich spare ja immernoch auf das Eichhörnchen *seufz* aber immerhin weiß ich jetzt, dass ich nicht unbedingt Distress Marker brauche, aber endlich mal mit den Distress Stempelkissen colorieren sollte. Das steht schon ewig auf der Ausprobieren-Liste.
    Hast du die Chevrons mit den Distress Markern eingefärbt?

      nee, die Chevrons habe ich mit den normalen Distress Inks und 'nem Blending Tool gemacht. (WPicked Raspberry und Spiced Marmelade) :)

  11. Hallo Christine! Jetzt erst habe ich es geschafft, mir dein Distress-Video anzugucken. Dazu habe ich ein paar Anmerkungen und Tipps für dich. (Ich hoffe, das ist okay, wenn ich das hier in den Kommentaren poste!?) Erstens: Zum Aquarellieren unbedingt immer Archival Ink verwenden (StazOn geht vielleicht auch, habe ich selbst aber noch nicht getestet), selbst unter Einsatz eines Heißluftföns und nach 24-Stunden Trocknungszeit sind die Memento-Tinten auf Aquarellpapier bei mir noch ausgeblutet. Es liegt nicht nur am Wasser, auch am Papier, aber mit Archival ist man auf jeden Fall auf der sicheren Seite. Zweitens: Es gibt meiner Meinung nach zwar Marker, die sich besser vermalen lassen als die Distress Marker, trotzdem sollte man unbedingt Aquarellpapier verwenden, wenn man Marker aquarelliert. Dann kommt es auch nicht zur Streifenbildung. Ich finde auch, dass man in deinem Video ganz gut sieht, dass die Farben auf dem Aquarellpapier viel leichter verlaufen als auf dem Cardstock. Vielleicht ist dir das wegen der auslaufenden Memento-Farbe aber nicht so deutlich aufgefallen? Ich habe gerade nochmal ein Test auf Schoelleshammer Aquarellpapier No 4 gemacht und darauf funktioniert das Vermalen tadellos. Drittens: Falls du ein gutes Aquarellpapier ohne Struktur suchst, versuchs mal mit Canson Illustration, das ist in dem Fall ideal. Viertens: Die seltsame Farbverschiebung beim Ripe Persimmon ist mir auch aufgefallen. Ich würde den Grundton zwar nicht als Orange beschreiben, sondern tatsächlich eher als korallig, aber mit Wasser vermalt kommt tatsächlich eine ganz komische Flamingo-Farbe dabei heraus. Die andere Farbverschiebung, von der du sprichst (Iced Spruce), kann ich auf meinem Aquarellpapier nicht nachvollziehen, und auch Gathered Twigs lässt sich hier einwandfrei vermalen.
