I told my Facebook-fans that there would be a surprise today - and here it is: The very first TAWS Video blog Hop. This time it's all about techniques.
You should have arrived from Chrissie’s blog! If you get lost, you can view the entire list on the TAWS Blog! The entire Hop list is below.
Here's my card:
And here's my video:
Your next stop is Dana. Make sure to leave her some love ;)
HOW TO WIN: If you want the chance to win a free mini set, just hop around and watch all the videos! While you watch, keep a pen handy! We all have “Easter Eggs” in our videos that spell out a phrase. Once you know that phrase, email Chrissie at harvestmoonpapiere@gmail.com the phrase with your name and one participant will be randomly chosen to win a free mini stamp set of their choice!
The hop will last through the weekend, so you have plenty of time to watch the videos and learn some new techniques. You have until 11:59 pm (Mountain Time) on April 13 to get your email in to win. The winner will be announced on the TAWS blog by Tuesday, April 15.
Oh, this is fab! And such a great technique. I have to admit I haven't really played with pigment inks much, as I'm far too impatient to wait for them to dry, lol.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! x
Such a pretty card, love the ombre technique.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip on going light to dark on the inks! What a lovely spring card you've created. Thanks for sharing with us!

- Jess
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the way the stamp images have two colors of ink - it's stunning! And I love the light airy feel of the card too! I'm so sorry the sentiment smudged!!!!! But I do love the way you crinkled up the vellum. It was a wonderful save!!
ReplyDeleteGreat technique, I will surely try it!!! Don't worry about the smudged sentiment, it turned out beautifully with the vellum!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I will give this ombré technique a try! Love the doily stamps! Great fix on your card, I think it turned out great!
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty, pretty! Your cards are always wonderful and your videos a delight! Great to know that even the 'pros' have moments of frustration, too! Your fix: brilliant!
