Das doppelte Lottchen {Lottie and Lisa} #176

Hello everyone,

it's 2018 and Lottie and Lisa is BACK! Anni and I decided we want to do it on a more regular base again and hope to manage a bi-weekly edition :)

For those new on my blog:
Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
For today Anni made a wish, and it is:

&

watercolor + heat embossing

This challenge was a little strange. I loved EVERYTHING about it, but I really struggled to make a a card that I liked. I started with multiple ideas, multiple background, multiple watercoloring-tecniques.
In the end I managed to crate two brand new cards for this theme:

Which one do you like better (and why?) Please let me know in the comments below!

Now hop over to Anni's blog to find her creation :) She'll knock your socks off ;)

Thanks for visiting!

More online card classes

Hi there, Ihave two more cards for you:

This one was also inpsired by the online card classes - I hadn't embossed vellum in quite a while - but it's so much fun! I sewed it on and it got a little wonky, but I guess it's not too bad.

The last card uses that same thanks die by Create A Smile, clear embossed on a mint cardstock. Clear embossing on colored cardstock is such an easy way to add interest to your card!

That's it for now. Leave a comment and let me know what you think :)

Thanks for stoppin' by - hope this was somehow inspirational

Online Card Class - Penny Black

Hello everyone, happy Sunday!

Today I have a few cards to share with you :) I'm taking part in the new Online Card Class Called "Clear & Sheer" and it's all about Acetate and Vellum :)

I'm back with a new post as a proud

with my first card :)

The teachers in class did an amzing job inspiring me and I really wanted to white amboss a flower on vellum and color it from the backside - this is so pretty! I've done this before, but it's long ago and I'm happy I found this technique again.

I used the Perfect Pairing Stamp set by Penny Black (30-346)  for the beautiful bouquet and the sentiment - this is so eyecatching that the card did not need much more :)

Das doppelte Lottchen #161

It's sunday, that means it's Lottie and Lisa time!

Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

My Favorite Things - Birthday Bears

&

use alphabet stamps

Well, those bears are just ADORBS and I had a blast coloring this little guy ()then my colorless blender ran out of ink, my refill is GONE (I know I put it somewhere is a safe place... too place obviously.. haha) so I had to re-order a new one, found out that cultpens.com is offering 30% off on Copics and refills now and BAM i placed an order - whoops - that's how things go, right? Has anyone ever managed to just order ONE copic item? Never ever. I won't believe you if you tell me you did ;)

I used an old Alphabet stamp set by The Alley Way Stamps - I always loved that font!

I also got a fuse tool this week and would like to share two cards that I made to try it out.
'1 is for our curent "Let's Create A Smile" inspiration Challenge at the Create A Smile Friends & Family Facebook group.
When I made this moodboard i strived through my stash and home to find a great color combo and to take matching photos and this is the result:

If you feel inspired by this and would like to win something - join the group, share your creation (including Create A Smile products or freebies) and have fun :)

This is my card using the fuse tool:

For the second card Birka from Mit Herz und Schere suggested we could make a card using the theme "round party" - and this was my result:
